FULL-ICE ADDITION ** NEW **
Total Hockey Minnesota is excited to announce the addition of a full-size ice sheet to the 2012 IHT Phase 2 Program. The Lakeville Hasse Arena will be utilized for both on and off ice training. Players will get the best of both small-ice for developing quickness and skills, and large-ice for developing speed and movement.
The idea to create the small-ice/large-ice combination comes directly from the NHL players who train in the IHT program at Total Hockey Minnesota. The big-ice format allows players to work on skating speed and wide puck movement. The small-ice format is a favorite of the NHL players for the development of quickness and small-area skills.
TRAINING OPTIONS
Three phases will be offered as in the past. Additionally, Fall Pre-Tryout camps have been added to ensure a player is heading to tryouts in top condition. All programs include on-ice and off-ice training. The basics of each proram offered is listed below. Please download the IHT Information Packet PDF for all details.
