Total Hockey Minnesota is once again offering its year-round Mite Developmental League (MDL). The mite level is where the foundational skills of a hockey player are instilled and developed, making it a pivotal time in a young player’s development. Because of this, we here at THMN have created a program that allows these young players to get professional training all year long.
The focus of the program will be on skill development with some competitive (and fun) 3-on-3 scrimmages mixed in. Below are the upcoming seasonal phases that will comprise the 2011 – 2012 MDL:
Spring Mite League (SPML) 24 Max Players
March 14th – May 16th (10 weeks)
Wednesdays (6:00pm – 8:15pm)
***Players will start off-ice for weeks 1-7, and will start on-ice for weeks 8-10.
Summer Mite League (SML) 48 Max Players
June 15th – August 24th (10 weeks – no practice July 6th)
Fridays (9:00am – 11:15am)
Fall Mite League (FML) 24 Max Players

Winter Mite League (WML) 24 Max Players

The players will train for two hours at Total Hockey Minnesota during each session. For single groups (24 max players), the players will spend an hour on ice working on basic hockey fundamentals, as well as an hour in our off ice training facility to continue working on their basic skills (shooting, puckhandling, skating form). When we have two groups, one will be on ice while the other is off ice, then the two will flip-flop.
The cost of each seasonal phase (i.e., Summer Mite League) is $400 per player. Any cancellations will be charged 25% of the fee. Discounted rates apply to those players registering for two or more phases:
- 2 phases = 5% discount (total = $760)
- 3 phases = 10% discount (total = $1080)
- 4 phases = 15% discount (total = $1360)
